Choose your own persona, Icons, + 1 more gem

3 marketing gems as usual

Hey,

After a long weekend of yard week, and the ensuing unfathomable back pain from Monday til now…

It’s time yet again to share 3 ideas on landing pages, copy, and content in less than 2 minutes…

Focus: True-form visuals

What’s good: There’s a lot to love about the aesthetic and flow of AirBNB’s new Icons release. My fave? Almost every visual on the page is seen through a mockup of an iPhone. That’s how you’ll use AirBNB to book, so that’s what you see on the front-end.

Focus: This isn’t for you

What’s good: Outseta just launched a new page that tells you really clearly what it is, who it’s for, yada yada. But most interesting? It clearly says “this might not be for you if…” Truly wish more brands would have the courage to do this.

Focus: Choose your own persona

What’s good: Check out this section. Each character leads to a different, contextual landing page. And they’re all recognizable creators and entrepreneurs, so you get that connection plus a clear idea of who Clipt is for. All without having to really think too much. Chef’s kiss.

Hope you found a gem here.

Yes, this is my business. No, I didn't pay myself to run this ad.

Look, stop wasting good traffic on bad copy. Pagetear solves this with DFY copywriting subscriptions for tech co's. 3 different plans for whatever you need. Or a one-time landing page audit if you just wanna improve conversions quick.

See where words can take you.
