Instant subject line booster

Can't believe how simple this is (and how well it works)

Hey,

Learned an insanely simple thing to add to your subject lines to boost open rate 15%-ish.

Ready for this?

Use indicator words.

If you need to spark some kinda action from the email, make it explicit in the subject.

Examples:

→ “READ:” if you just need their eyeballs for a moment but nothing else

→ "UPDATE:" for providing new information on an ongoing matter

→ "REVIEW:" when you need someone to look over a document

→ “ACTION:” if you need them to do something on a timeline

→ "FEEDBACK:" when you're requesting input or opinions

→ "SCHEDULE:" for setting up meetings or appointments

→ "FYI:" for informational emails that don't require action

→ "CONFIRM:" if you need verification or approval

→ "QUESTION:" when you need a specific answer

→ "RSVP:" if you need a response to an invitation

→ "REMINDER:" for follow-ups or deadlines

→ "URGENT:" for time-sensitive matters

→ “SIGN:” if you need a signature

This is just like having a clear button on your website. Tell people what to expect, and increase your rate of action.

You doing this yet? Reply to this email and let me know your fave tips/hacks!

P.S. I’ll write all your subject lines for you (and whatever other copy you need). I am accepting one-off copywriting projects for Pagetear currently:
